MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE CROSS
The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is a compact crossover SUV introduced by Mitsubishi Motors in 2017. Positioned between the ASX and Outlander in Mitsubishi’s lineup, the Eclipse Cross marked the revival of the “Eclipse” name, previously associated with a sporty coupe. The vehicle debuted at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, showcasing a design inspired by the XR-PHEV concept cars. It features a distinctive coupe-like silhouette, aiming to blend sporty aesthetics with SUV practicality

Under the hood, the Eclipse Cross offers a range of powertrains to cater to diverse markets. Initially, it was available with a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine and a 2.2-liter diesel engine, the latter introduced in 2019. In 2020, Mitsubishi expanded the lineup with a plug-in hybrid variant, combining a 2.4-liter Atkinson-cycle petrol engine with two electric motors, delivering a total system output of 138 kW (188 hp) and a torque of 338 Nm. The hybrid system allows for an electric-only range of up to 45 km (WLTP) and supports multiple driving modes, including serial and parallel hybrid configurations.
